I’ll be the first to admit I throw the word ‘epic’ around waaaaaaaay too often (ten times a day isn’t an exaggeration). But Lari and Dani’s 2-day-2-state-2-climate elopement adventure just can’t be described any other way. It was truly EPICCCCCCC!

For their first day, we met in the early hours of the morning at one of our favorite trails in Moab, UT, and hiked out under the light of the full moon. Did someone say ROMANTIC? They then got ready on opposite sides of an enormous arch and enjoyed a first look with not another soul in sight. After exploring the area they found the perfect spot to share the sweetest private vows. Before heading back down, the two lovebirds snuggled up to make coffee together, a tradition from their daily life they wanted to bring into their wedding day.

After a little lunchtime break, we met up with Lari and Dani’s family for their ceremony out at Dead Horse Point State Park. Lari had the most adorable first look with her family first: they all shrieked and jumped for joy when they saw their girl all dressed up and ready to get MARRIED! After holding their ceremony and making it official, the whole group headed to Sorrel River Ranch for a super fun celebration: dinner together, snuggling round the fire pits and even some impromptu line-dancing!

Wow, that was just Day 1!!!

The next day, we met Lari and Dani just 2hrs west of Moab, up on the Grand Mesa near Grand Junction, Colorado. This is a hidden gem of a location and it blew Lari and Dani’s minds! They’re from Florida and had never seen snow before: just imagine the fun they had trying out snowshoes for the first time, having a snowball fight and then launching themselves into the snow to make snow angels… What a fun way to celebrate your marriage!
