Cailey and Ben’s Moab elopement last Fall was one we’ll never forget! It was so full of love, intention and FUN. 

We always ask our couples WHY they want to elope and this is what Cailey and Ben shared: 

“We are both introverts and couldn’t stand the idea of a big wedding. Our love is personal and we wanted to do something truly special to commit ourselves to each other. When we discussed the idea of eloping, it was immediately clear it was exactly what we both wanted. We’d much rather have a once in a lifetime day that we’ll be able to treasure forever.”

We’ve found a lot of our couples consider themselves to be introverted and feel that a big wedding just ain’t ‘it’ for them. The thought of having a hundred sets of eyes on you as you share the most intimate words of your life is a HARD NO! We totally get that, we’re the exact same way!  As introverts, big weddings are overwhelming AF and just send your nervous system into overdrive. Elopements, on the other hand, allow you to slow down, truly connect with each other and actually make solid memories.

And, boy, did Cailey and Ben make memories!!

From sun-up to sun-down (and beyond), they packed their day with exploring: from a sunrise hike to a remote arch for their ceremony, to exploring one of the most beautiful areas in Moab for sunset, to staying out to stargaze under a pitch black night sky. 

We just love to think of the distant day when Cailey and Ben are 90 years old, going through old photographs and they turn to each other and smile, with a look that says ‘Wow, can you believe we did that? I’m so GLAD we did that.’
