Our greatest desire is for every couple out there to marry each other in a way that feels right to THEM.

If that means a traditional venue with lots of guests, well, that’s great. Totally cool, have at it.

But if that doesn’t make sense to YOU – if you dream of something different, something more freeing – we want to remind you that you DO have a choice.

You can elope and get married in the most beautiful venue of them all: the great outdoors.

And we’d love to make that happen for you.

We firmly believe your elopement day deserves just as much love, attention and time as anyone else’s big, traditional wedding. You deserve the same memories captured as anyone else.

The LONGER your day, the LESS it will feel like a photoshoot. You will have time to relax, settle in, and explore… With no pressure to just bust out the photos.

The SLOWER the pace, the STRONGER the memories! You can really live in the moment, focus on connecting with your partner and the world around you, and create memories to last a lifetime.

At the end of the day, the whole story of your elopement experience will be told, not just a small snapshot of it… All those beautiful, in-between moments that are so easily forgotten as time passes by. Photos that will make your faces crinkle when you’re 90 years old!

What does an all-day elopement look like?

Are you struggling to imagine how your elopement day might play out, what you could actually DO with all that time?

Don’t worry, we got ya!

The first thing to know is that multiple hours of photo coverage does NOT mean one long-a** photoshoot! (phew!!).

Of course, we’ll spend some time getting those epic portraits with stunning backdrops you’re dreaming of. But the rest of the time? Well, that’s just you and your love doing your thing, being yourselves and having the best time of your lives. We just happen to be there capturing all the magic!

We’re going to share a sample timeline below, to help you visualize just how incredible your experience could be and to give you an idea of what you can realistically fit into a given timeframe.

But first, a few general rules to stay aware of:

01.

Everything takes longer than you think. Really, trust us on this one. Buffer time needs to be built in EVERYWHERE.

02.

If you’re bringing guests, everything takes waaaaaay longer than you think. The phrase ‘herding cats’ comes to mind…

03.

All the little activities add up: maybe a first look, a first dance, cutting a cake, tucking into pizza and beers on a cliff edge…

04.

Don’t forget about travel time if you want to check out multiple cool locations.

05.

Most importantly, you want to be sure your day moves at a nice relaxed pace, so you can truly soak it all in and not feel rushed or stressed.

SAMPLE Timeline for an 8hr sunrise + sunset SPLIT (OUR MOST POPULAR PACKAGE… BY FAR)

5.30: load up vehicles and set off to rugged overlook, enjoying the night sky along on the way

6.30: arrive at overlook in the dark and watch the world around you slowly start to take shape

7.00: first look just as the sun creeps up

7.30: enjoy the sunrise, read letters from loved ones

8.00: your ceremony, let’s get you married!

8.30: explore the area, capture epic pics

10.30: head back to the cute town you’re staying in

Break over lunch to decompress/grab food/take a power nap (if you wanted to add in an activity such as horse riding or a private chef lunch you could upgrade to our 12hr package)

5.30: short hike to your second location, a pristine alpine lake, photos along the way

6.30: tuck into a decadent picnic, cut a small cake and pop some bubbles (or pizza and beers!)

7.30: celebrate – maybe a private first dance – and enjoy the sunset

8.30: coverage wraps up

We are, and always will be your photographers first and foremost: we LOVE how once-in-a-lifetime moments can be frozen in time with still imagery.

However, over our years of shooting elopements, we’ve come to realize the importance of video, too. The movement, the sound, the energy… There’s something truly incredible about video’s ability to transport you back in time.

Because, the reality is, memories fade. So, you want to do everything in your power to preserve the magic from your elopement day, right?

We got ya!

You will receive a fully edited 3 minute highlight video put to music, capturing the most special parts of your day. In addition, you will receive a simple, single-angle video of your entire ceremony.

Not only will YOU be able to relive the magic over and over, but you’ll be able to share it with your loved ones back home, too!

*** If you want a full length, cinematic video of your day, this is NOT it. You’ll want to hire a separate elopement videographer which we can help you find. ***

Up to 16 hrs of photography coverage divided however you choose across two days

$10 800 USD

This is the DREAM collection if you’re a ‘go big or go home’ kind of a couple!

Want to go on a mammoth backpacking adventure? Or an epic road trip? How about a day in the San Juan mountains followed by a day in the Moab desert?

With this amount of time you can pack in all the cool locations, so many fun activities and STILL have time just to relax and revel in your wedded bliss.

Included:

Photography from two photographers. You will receive a full resolution digital gallery with unlimited downloads and personal printing rights. You can expect to receive approximately 40-50 fully edited images per hour of coverage. We can assist with prints and albums if wanted.

Optional videography coverage. 3 minute highlight video, with a full simple recording of your ceremony in addition, available as an add-on for $2000.

Personalized planning assistance. After we get to know you a little through phone calls and a fun date-night questionnaire, we will send you a custom location list to help you pinpoint your dream spot and a full 100 page elopement planning guide to help you through the process.
We will be on hand throughout to:
– help you figure out travel and accommodation logistics
– advise on outdoor wedding attir
– help you navigate any permits needed
– give recommendations if you need other vendors
– suggest super-cool activities for your big day
– create a day-of timeline allowing for adventure, relaxation and fun.

Ceremony officiation. Vanessa is a registered officiant and will write a personalized ceremony just for you, reflective of your beliefs.

Complimentary heirloom album design. We will design a digital proof for you so you can imagine what your elopement story would look like in print. You can then decide if you would like to work with us to create the perfect heirloom album to document your love story forevermore. We work with an incredible small supplier with the most beautiful range of album materials and color choices.

Our travel covered. As long as your location(s) can be accessed by a 4WD vehicle and has reasonably priced accommodation available (<$150 per night), we will take care of all our own travel arrangements. You don’t need to worry about any extras getting tacked on! If you’d like us to join you for any extra activities on your elopement day (helicopter ride, off-roading, hot-air balloon etc) that will need to be factored in to your invoice.

Up to 12hrs of photography coverage, can be split across two days

$8800 USD 

This is a super cool collection if you want to explore multiple locations or are bringing family and friends along and would like to set aside some time for just the two of you. The best part? You can for sure catch both sunrise AND sunset if you’d like to: double the ‘wow’ photos. You can ABSOLUTELY have it all! And we will be there to document the whole epic experience for you.

We are open to splitting your coverage over two days if you’d like to include a mini adventure either the evening before your elopement or the morning after. This would be ideal if, for example, you wanted to backpack and camp out, if you wanted to star gaze the the evening before your elopement or if you wanted to check out two contrasting locations such as the San Juan mountains in western CO and the red desert of Moab, UT. Let’s chat ideas!

We totally recommend this collection if you want a full but relaxed elopement experience. You could tackle a little hike, spend some time chilling at your cute cabin rental, or we could rent Jeeps and go on an epic off-roading tour. 
We are open to splitting your 8hrs of coverage into two parts if you’d like to catch both sunrise and sunset, the dreamiest, most romantic times of the day! 

*** This is one of our most popular packages for couples who really want the full story of their epic elopement told. Please do NOT think of this as an all day photoshoot – yuck! – but more as a truly memorable elopement experience, with us tagging along to capture all the fun! ***
