Paige and Alex’s kind words: “I canโt say enough great things about Vanessa and Chad! They were absolutely **PERFECT** for our mountaintop wedding. From the very beginning of the process, they were warm, friendly, communicative, and professional, and they made us feel completely at ease. V and Chad hiked up the entire mountain with us โ not an easy feat โ and captured breathtaking photos that perfectly reflected the beauty of the day. Their dedication to getting the perfect shot was unmatched; as someone who doesnโt wear suits, I was grateful to have Chad there to make adjustments after I changed into one. With their direction, every photo felt natural, and they somehow managed to make even the simplest moments feel magical. Vanessa went above and beyond by officiating our little ceremony in front of a gorgeous alpine lake. It was truly one of the highlights of the day. She has such a calming presence, and she made the ceremony so personal and meaningful, interweaving parts of my wife and Iโs story into the narrative. This is about the point where Chad took some photos of me happy-cryingโฆ and managed to make THOSE look good too. Seriously, we couldnโt have asked for a better duo to make our day unforgettable. TL;DR: If youโre looking for photographers who are not only talented but genuinely care about making your day special, look no further than The Outlovers. They made our wedding day feel like a dream come true! Five thousand stars. A+. Chefโs kiss.”
Ever heard of Type 2 fun? No? Well, let me explainโฆ.
Type ONE is obvious: itโs exactly the kind of fun you imagine. Dancing to your favorite song, hanging out with your best friend, catching a movie at the cinemaโฆ Immediately and easily satisfying.
Type TWO fun is a little different: itโs the kind of fun that sucks at the time but feels so darned good after. Starting your elopement day at 2.30am and hiking to a high elevation mountain pass in time for sunrise, for example. Sucky as all heck when the alarm goes off, still a little sucky as your quads are burning on the way up, no less sucky getting ready in the FREEZING coldโฆ But OH SO SATISFYING when youโre standing on top of the world with your partner, all dressed up in your wedding gear, as the sunlight hits the rugged peaks around you and you realize itโs your WEDDING DAY!!
Type 2 fun is NOT for everyone, it takes a certain kind of couple. Well, Paige and Alex sure are that couple!! They thrive on challenge, they love a little adversity, and they knew there was nothing more โthemโ than to take on a big adventure to say โI Doโ.
This day was a whole other level of epic and one we will never forget! From the sparkling stars on the hike up, to the dreamy sunrise, the emotional ceremony, the laughs and story-telling as we made our way downโฆ Itโs what Type 2 elopement dreams are made of!
