A Peaceful, Intimate Fall Elopement In Breckenridge

Michaela and Tom came out to Breckenridge, Colorado for their big day, bringing their parents along for a super small, intimate family affair. September is such a magical time of year in western Colorado, and we were lucky enough to see some incredible Fall colors.⁠

We started out at one of our favorite locations for sunrise. Ohhhh my goodness, it was STUNNING but, boy, was it cold! These two snuggled up to stay warm and, woweeeee, did that sun feel good when it popped over the horizon and they could bask in its glow. That’s the kind of thing that makes you feel ALIVE on your elopement day!⁠

We then picked up their parents and headed to our second location for their family ceremony. The request was ‘suuuuper accessible but still with great views, please!’. I’d say we nailed it?⁠ After officially tying the knot, we captured some sweet family photos and then everyone celebrated with our three favorite wedding day Cs: cake, champagne and charcuterie!

After an afternoon break, we met up again for sunset at a gorgeous lake just outside of town. The fall colors were popping, the lake was still and it was a beautiful chance for Michaela and Tom to slow down, really ground themselves in the moment and reflect on their beautiful day.⁠ They took time to soak in the views and connect with one another before wrapping up the day with private vows.
